High Points Percentage System:
The app uses a high point percentage scoring system to calculate points based on race results. This ensures fair competition by considering each racer's finish position relative to the total number of valid entries in each race. DNS, DNF and DSQ scores are dropped.
Finish Position: Each racer's finish position in the race is recorded from the uploaded CSV file.
Total Participants: The total number of participants in the race is determined by the number of valid entries in the CSV file.
Points Display:
Points are displayed on the leaderboard in descending order, reflecting each racer's accumulated points across multiple races.
This scoring system encourages competitive racing and ensures fairness by rewarding racers based on their finish position relative to the competition.
Customization Options
Enhance your racing experience with customizable CSS styling options. Personalize the app’s look and feel to match your team colors or personal preferences. Easily adjust fonts, colors, and backgrounds through simple CSS modifications, making the app truly your own.
User Manual
Uploading Race Results:
Click on the "Choose File" button and select the CSV file containing race results. The files are located in the following directory... C:\Users\*****\Documents\Vsk5\Results
Multiple files can be selected for simultaneous upload.
The app automatically processes each file, updating the points standings and displaying the results in the leaderboard.
Viewing Points Standings:
The leaderboard dynamically updates to show the current points standings of all participants.
Each racer’s name, total race entries, and accumulated points are displayed in descending order based on points.
Customizing CSS:
Modify the app’s appearance by editing the included CSS styles.
Adjust background images, text colors, and element sizes to match your team’s branding or personal aesthetic.
