AAQ 2025: BTEC LEVEL 3 - Unit 1 Information Technology Systems - Learning Aim A

All of these resources have been newly made to meet the new and updated criteria of the 2025 AAQ Level 3 BTEC.

Inlcuded in this resource are 14 Teacher led PowerPoints each with learning objectives, 14 Do It Now Tasks and 14 plenary tasks. On top of all of that, there are 18 worksheets complete with answers at the bottom of the worksheet to ease teacher marking. Most worksheets consist of 4-5 activities. There is also a multiple choice kahoot style PowerPoint that covers content from across learning aim A and a set set of flashcards for revision.

Students investigate how different digital devices interact to form complete IT systems and consider the impact these technologies have in both personal and professional contexts. The unit builds understanding of how IT is used in everyday life, the benefits it offers, and the issues that arise from relying on interconnected systems.
