Bernard Cornwell has long been a national literary treasure on both sides of the Atlantic for decades, thanks to his now-legendary RICHARD SHARPE series, along with other historical masterpieces like THE SAXON STORIES/LAST KINGDOM series, the WARLORD CHRONICLES, the GRAVEQUEST series, the STARBUCK CHRONICLES among others in his literal library of a catalog.  His Sharpe series was adapted into a hit television series starring Sean Bean on ITV and The Last Kingdom by BBC.
