Rwandan Mountain Gorilla Keychain

Ordinarily, you'd need to fly to Rwanda and hire a guide for $1,500 to take you into a deswne forest reserve to spy the Mountain Gorillas for 20 minutes. But you can spy on this little greyback all you like and bring him everywhere you go; he's a great conversation starter!

I purchased this item from Eric Nsengiyumva, a young refugee from Burundi in Kigali, Rwanda while Sharon and I were there in September 2025 for the first UCI World Cycling Championships ever held on the continent. Eric is supporting 7 family members who live in a refugee camp and are unable to work. He sells his own work and that of friends, including the chappie who carved this gorilla from local wood.
