£1 Real Mintage Figures Guide (50% off when you tweet and like it)

The £1 coin as we know it is being taken out of circulation, only the new multi sided £1 coin starting 2017 will remain along with subsequent years. Every year that has a 'round £1' is being taken out of circulation and melted back down. Coin collectors worldwide have been put in a panic worrying about how they are going to complete their collections. The round pound disappears in October 2017

Disreputable sellers will no doubt vastly increase the prices of certain years to staggering proportions. At the time of writing this guide the 2008 Royal Arms is being advertised by some at £100 or more (just a month ago in Jabuary 2017 the same coin was only £4.95) and this is just going to get worse. Years that are not at all rare will be labelled as rare and once again the average coin collector will not know who is telling the truth and who is not. A coin like the 2008 Royal Arms with just under 4 million in circulation is semi rare and hard to find at the best of times, but now the prices will be decided by supply and demand. Prices will increase across the board and then settle down again, in our humble opinion.

It is us who brought you the 50p Mintage Guide which has been a runaway success, if you haven't got one just search the site for it or search our shop or even google.

Everything in my guide is freely available on the Royal Mint web site, except they don't make it easily understandable. At present my guide covers over 40 different £1 coins up to and including the 2015 (2016 was going to be the last round £1 but it was pulled). I have numbered them in order of their Mintage figures, so number 1 is the absolute rarest and the last number is the least rarest. Once the information becomes available I will update my guide with the 2017 multi sided and beyond. No doubt once it is first released the multi sided pound will start off at silly money, just be patient, they are likely to mint millions of them as they will be the first of many to come and the first are always over minted.

With my guide you can absolutely know which £1 coins are rare and which are not. I've taken the time to write this guide because I am constantly being asked by my customers which is which and who they can believe. My guide is cast iron guaranteed and backed up by the freely available information on the Royal Mint web site, so you can easily cross reference it with the figures they give.

Armed with my guide, you'll never be conned again!

My guide is my work (reformatting the freely available information) and cannot be re sold, no resale rights are given with the sale.
