One of my favorite hats to knit. Just knits and purls. Easy and fast!
Yarn: Worsted Weight. I used Malabrigo Rios in the Tormenta Colorway.
Yardage: 140 yards
Needles: US 5 (3.75mm) circular needles on a 16” cord; size US 5 DPNs if needed for
crown decreases.
Gauge: 5.5 stitches and 9 rows = 1 inch in unblocked stockinette
Measurements with no blocking: 8 and 1/2” tall with an unstretched
circumference of 16” inches at the brim (will stretch to fit a standardsize adult head).
