Saint George is a result of my eldest son’s wanting a new scarf and my desire to design it for him. He picked the color, I floated some design ideas for him to consider, and this is what we came up with together. I think it is a very masculine pattern, great for gift giving for the holidays, though it could be used for a woman, of course.
This design is primarily charted with some written direction. If English is not your primary language, this is an excellent pattern to try.

Gauge: 22 stitches and 36 rows = 4 inches in Stockinette
Needle size: US 6 - 4.0 mm
