Horn Morning Sunshine, morning routine for French horn
This eBook was created as my desire to enable students in my masterclasses to make it easier to follow the warm-up and daily routines as well as to make it easier for them to grasp my general view to playing the horn. It does not contain any "secrets of life" that will teach you how to play after 20 minutes, but contains a system by which you can start listening more and thus enjoy your sound at a greater extent. Please perceive this as just one tree in the forest of knowledge which you can gather wherever you turn. Everything here writes the result of my ONLY 15-years long walk through different forests and picking a variety of fruits of which I alone preserved the most delicious for myself. I was lucky enough to learn from
some of the best horn players and generally musicians of our time and I did my best to adapt and adopt whatever I liked for further progress. Almost all of us started playing the horn because we were completely fascinated by its sound, and then in the meantime, we lost sight of it in our desire to reach better technique. Unfortunately, some of us, from artists became mere artisans. As Fergus McWilliam said in his book: “All good horn players practise, but not everyone who practise is a good horn player".
With sincere hope that this eBook will help you to fall in love with our magical instrument even more, I invite you to come on this shared adventure.
