Everything you need to know about half-square triangles. This cheat sheet is a document that I would have liked to find myself when I really started to make a lot of patchwork. At each pattern writing, at each QAL organized on Instagram, I searched the methods of making half-square triangles, as well as the different sizes of starting squares, thus losing valuable time on the Internet.

You can find in this booklet the different methods to create HSTs (2 at a time, 4 at a time, etc.), illustrated each time with diagrams. And you will also find for each method, the calculation formulas to find the size of starting squares according to the final size of HSTs. Don’t want to do the calculations? No problem!
