Tom is recently divorced and in his fifties when he decides to leave the dystopian UK and start a new life in Thailand. After several long chats with his friend Dave who has a hotel resort and lived there for many years he flies out and is shown around and learns the game. He is overwhelmed at how safe and different it is from the UK and after finding an apartment in Bangkok his adventure begins.
