ASA Twin 16
After making 100’s of blankets in the All Squared Away (ASA) style, I was finding I had a large pile of small balls of black yarn, in various dye lots, that weren’t making their way into my scrapghans (because I usually join with black!).
I designed this pattern specifically to use up those black scraps. I kept the squares small (from 2- to 5-rounds) so that I could use up my tiniest balls of black, and then chose a self-striping yarn to join them with. (You, of course, and choose any colours you want, as usual for my scrapghans!)
Finished size: is approximately 14.8 x 9.4 times bigger than your 5-round square. Sample measures 80” x 51”.
Total yardage: 3525 yards
Squares: 2200 yards
Join: 1325 yards
This pattern was tested for colour blind accessibility by https://www.color-blindness.com/coblis-color-blindness-si... It will also still make sense when printed in the black/white setting on your printer.
