Air and Wind, Book 1 of Spheres of Magic

Moringa, a garden fairy, wasn't looking for love, but she finds it nonetheless when a poor young street teen named Habib summons her accidentally with old magic. He is trapped in some underground caverns and is lost until he comes upon an ancient magic altar that still works. Once summoned, Moringa is forced to grant him a wish and teleports them both to her fairy home, where they spend time together and fall in love.

But even as they are realizing their feelings for each other, there are obstacles to overcome. One is from Moringa's own people, some of whom disapprove of the relationship. Another is Kafir, the dark figure who trapped Habib in the caves and has slain the sultan with an army of demons. Later, a wind giant abducts Moringa and requires someone fight him before he will release her. Are they star-crossed lovers or does their love conquer all?
