Joyful is designed to use a 12 day fingering weight mini skein countdown calendar with a coordinating full sized skein to create a wrap that is perfectly light and airy over your shoulders or warm and cozy scrunched up around your neck.
I used alternating bands of easy to memorize lace and textured stitches with a bit of garter in between. It was created with a Halloween countdown calendar from Purl Scout Yarns that I purchased for myself last year and you can knit yours with any 12 minis that you have in your yarn collection or put together a special set from your sock remnants from the year.
Unless of course you are counting down with your favorite indie dyer this year with a new calendar. In which case, this pattern is perfect for whatever magic they are bringing your way.

Purl Scout Yarns 2021 Dead Moon Circus inspired Halloween Avent
Stary Fingering 80% Eco Processed Superwash Merino Wool/20 % Nylon at 420 yards/392 meters per 115 grams.
1 full skein for the Main Color (MC) and 12 20 gram Minis for Colors 1-12 (CC1, CC2, etc...)
Or a similar yarn
