All That is Good: The Journey to Overcoming and Achieving (BOOK)
It is a typical practice in the Black community for children to be raised by extended family members, and studies show that children who experienced life with absent biological parents were much more likely to show disruptive behavior in school, have lower grades and poorer emotional adjustment, or likely to drop out of school all together. Dr. James-Etta had all the circumstances for her to be another statistic. But where she spent most of her life on a pattern of self-destructive behavior, it was her faith and her journal writing habit that would become her pathway to healing, harmony, and happiness.
"All That is Good," the new book from Dr. James-Etta pulls no punches when it comes to sharing her personal journal reflections to connect to her power for continuous growth. Now she’s on a mission to encourage every woman to know her story, share her story, and push forward to All That is Good!
