Built in Germany at the turn of the 20th century, this clock represents the beloved architectural "Vienna Regulator" style. Crafted from warm walnut and accented with dramatic ebonized baluster side columns, the case is crowned by an architectural broken-arch pediment with a central turned urn finial. The full-length glazed front door and viewing side lights provide an open showcase for the porcelain dial, beat scale, and decorative multi-rod gridiron pendulum.

Houses a precision 8-day mechanical brass movement engineered for dependable domestic timekeeping. Powered by dual heavy tempered-steel mainsprings, it drives an anchor recoil escapement and counts out each hour while sounding the half-hour on a deep cathedral coiled wire gong.
