These Autumn Directed Drawing Lessons are 10 step-by-step fall drawing activities that make learning to draw clear and approachable for kids. Each page is an original Ms Artastic creation.

They are best for Grades 1 to 4 and easy to adapt for Kindergarten or Grade 5. Students follow simple drawing steps while building fine motor skills, observation and artistic confidence. Students can draw directly on the pages, in sketchbooks or on blank paper for larger compositions, and you can photocopy the full set into a directed drawing workbook using the included cover and extra draw-on sheets.

WHAT TEACHERS ARE SAYING

★★★★ “Incredible resource! Super helpful! Thank you this amazing resource! My student's artwork (scarcrows and acorns) turned out beautiful! I will be using it again next year!” Michelle L.

WHAT'S INCLUDED (NON-EDITABLE)

  • 10 Autumn Directed Drawing Lessons with step-by-step instructions: leaf, pumpkin, squirrel, scarecrow, acorn, fox, crow, corn, apple and bird on a pumpkin
  • Blank Draw-On Pages for sketchbook or workbook use
  • Title Page and Optional Cover to assemble a directed drawing booklet

WHAT STUDENTS LEARN

Students follow step-by-step visual instructions to learn proportion and structure, strengthen fine motor control and line and shape recognition, and apply the Elements of Art: Line, Shape, Space and Pattern. Along the way they develop focus, patience, creative independence and confidence in their own drawing.

Print individual pages or copy the whole set as a workbook. Use them for fall art lessons, art centers, early finishers, sub plans, sketchbook assignments, homeschool projects, calm-down centers or seasonal bulletin boards. Lessons can be finished in one class or extended with color, background scenes or written reflections.
