Toiyabe - a knitting pattern

As you travel across the country side the mountains seem as though they go on forever. When the summit is finally reached and you gaze out across the wilderness, there across a valley reaching for the sky is another mountain range. This hat is named after one of the many mountain ranges in the state of Nevada.

Finished Dimensions: circumference – 18 inches / 46 cm, height – 8 inches / 20cm

Yarn: Hazel Knits Lively DK - 90% Merino, 10% Nylon - 275 yards / 130 grams or The Fibre Co. Acadia, DK, 60% Merino, 20% Alpaca, 20% Silk, 145 yards / 50 grams

Yardage: 140 yards / 137 meters

Gauge: 20 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches/10 cm in stockinette

Needles: US 5/3.75 mm & US 7/4.5 mm circular and/or DPNs

Notions: Stitch markers for BOR, cable needle, and darning needle for weaving in ends.
