A Lovecraftian noir short story

Another abandoned house on the edge of Arkham. Deserted. Creepy. Something private detective Lazarus Core wouldn't normally bother with, until he's tracked a runaway to this door. But something's wrong with this house. Clusters of parasitic shells on the porch. Door half off its hinges. Awful smell. And all that before his rival catches him there. Harlan Thompson, leader of the local crime organization called the Pharaoh Syndicate, knows things. Sinister things. Things about this house. Things he wants Lazarus to see. But as strangely familiar music floats through the impossible rooms, Lazarus and Harlan realize the house isn't as empty as it seems.

A Pharaoh Syndicate Investigations short story. Set in the Cthulhu Mythos, this series focuses on the adventures of Lazarus Core and Carmine Mason as they rebel against the monsters controlling Arkham, and face down all the cosmic nightmares that await.
