Guitar HD IR Pack 1

The Guitar HD IR Pack 1 is a collection of impulse responses recorded from 10 different guitar cabinets. 

For many years we’ve been relentlessly working on recording impulse responses from all sorts of guitar cabinets, ranging from world-famous classics to relative underdogs. This pack contains IR mixes which provide the closest representation of the cabs’ character to our ears and can be used in any music genre. We used the same approach when making the widely popular Bass HD IR Pack, so now it’s time to unveil a matching guitar cab IR pack! 

To save you from endless scrolling through mic placement options, we’ve prepared 4 mic placement options per cabinet, each sitting well in the mix with no extensive post-processing required. The pack has a total of 80 high-definition WAV files recorded from 10 cabs: 40 mono impulses and 40 stereo versions recreate the cabs’ sound in the room where they were recorded. The impulses can be used with hardware and software IR players. The maximum impulse length in the pack is 500 ms, but we’ve also prepared 250ms, 125ms and 20ms versions so that you could select the best-fitting one with no extra hassle.

This IR pack consists of 80 impulses recorded from 10 guitar cabinets. For each cab, there are 4 mono and 4 stereo versions. Each impulse has different length versions in 3 formats (96@24, 48@24,44@16). All IRs in the pack are phase-aligned (Minimum Phase).
