January – Winter Wonders

This month’s Tiny Steps curriculum celebrates the magic of winter through hands-on learning and creative play. Children explore snowy themes, Arctic animals, and winter traditions while practicing early literacy, counting, and art skills. Activities include snowflake crafts, snowman tracing, color-blue discovery, letters A–C, and number 1 practice.

January also introduces cultural learning with the Winter Celebrations Passport and meaningful lessons about kindness during Martin Luther King Jr. Day. To close the month, children receive a Kindness Award — a fun way to celebrate helping hands, empathy, and positive behavior.

Each printable encourages creativity, fine-motor development, and joyful learning at home or in the classroom.
