Amberly is not a happy camper. Her job calls for her to look professional and wear heels to work but she must contend with wearing only one heel and a huge LLWC on one leg that turns in her casted foot. Every painful step is frustrating with her bare toes sticking out of her cast. She alternates between using a crutch for support and abandoning them. To make matters worse, there are lots of steep steps she must use. She needs to rest a lot and massage her toes to keep them clean and just for some relief as she's describes her situation.
