New LED Display Power Supply Repair Course 2025

To provide participants with the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to diagnose, repair and adapt power supplies in LED screens, with a focus on the operation, classification and repair of converters of different types. Attendees will learn how to identify typical faults in single-board power supplies, how to force start to test the power of the sources and the power on of the backlight LEDs, and how to use universal modules to restore the operation of Forward, Flyback, and Boost converters on 50- to 75-inch displays, including brands such as Hisense, TCL, LG and Samsung, among others. Upon completion, participants will be trained to troubleshoot power-up issues related to power supplies and their interactions with the Main board.

TOPICS TO BE DEVELOPED:

·         Learn how to identify power sources and classify them by type and number of converters.


·         Learn how to check the converters used for standby so that the equipment can do the power-up.


·         Learn how to identify and test the power converters they generate to power the LED display power sections.


·         How a single card font is repaired or adapted on Chinese screens.


·         Force start the power supply with two or three converters to test the power of the source and the lighting of the LEDs in the back light.


·         Characteristics of single-board integrated fonts and what are their typical failures to turn on the screen.


·         Learn how to detect if the display won't turn on due to power failure or Main failure on single 50-inch cards from Chinese displays, including HISENSE and TCL.


·         Learn how to identify and repair power lines and trigger lines to turn on the source converters.


·         How the Forward Converter-Boot Supply Works for Chinese 50- to 75-inch Displays includes HISENSE and TCL, and their typical failures when the display won't turn on.

·         How to repair the B+ Boost converter with a source module that does not have the power to turn on the LEDs of the Back light on screens of 50 to 75 inches.


·         Learn how to check the source boot with two converters on LG and Samsung brand screens from 50" to 75".


·         Learn how to use the Universal Module to repair font in the Fly back converter.


·         Learn how to use the boost module to repair fountains that are 50 inches or larger.

·         Learn how to use the Forward module to repair fountains that are 50 inches or larger.


·         Causes that cause the source to be intermittent and not turn on the equipment.
