ORIGIN OF SILENCE

Genesis of Snow – Fragment 14

(excerpt from the Codex of Genesis)

It is not a winter.

It is a weightless hand,

descending gently,

not to cover,

but to remind the world it can still grow quiet without fleeing.

Snow does not fall.

It attunes to latent silence,

laying upon every surface an ancient breath,

which judges nothing,

but soothes all that tried too hard to speak.

Each flake carries no meaning.

And yet: it holds the peace of a forgotten language.

This fourteenth fragment of the Codex of Genesis

does not transmit information.

It invokes a state.

A moment when speech withdraws,

and cold becomes a proof of love without wounding.

Here, Snow is not a climate.

She is a tender threshold between visibility and effacement.

❄️ Perhaps one day, a Codex of Snow will rise,

formed of 64 sensitive crystallizations,

of forms, gestures, silences, frost-lit fragments,

where each expression would be a unique way of making space for the unspoken.

🜂 This text is sealed.

It asks nothing.

It allows you to hear what no longer calls.

It is not cold.

It is a love that does not wish to be named.
