The Leeward fingerless mitts are an easy and quick project featuring Lena’s crochet cable technique. This design showcases a simple cable with two different twists - perfect for learning the technique - using the simplest crochet stitches: single crochet and its variations (esc, fsc).

The Leeward Hat is a perfect companion to the Leeward Mitts. However, it’s recommended to start with the mitts first to familiarize yourself with the technique, as the hat introduces a more complex variation of the cables combined with short rows.
