The ADHD Action Field Manual is a practical manual for people with ADHD who are tired of being comforted instead of helped.

I wrote this because I am sick and tired of the bullshit ADHD advice spreading on TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and the rest of social media. So much of it is curated to make people with ADHD feel good about having ADHD, while avoiding the blunt truth that ADHD is a real mental handicap unless you take charge of it in a way that actually works.

The posts going viral are full of the same recycled nonsense. You are “secretly a genius.” Your brain is “too competent for normal life.” You failed at school because ordinary systems simply could not handle your brilliance. You are not struggling, you are just misunderstood. And very often this is presented by some fake AI generated “doctor” with a calm voice, perfect lighting, and absolutely nothing useful to say.

I hate that kind of advice because I know what ADHD actually does. I have ADHD. I know the lost momentum, the forgotten tasks, the bad timing, the broken follow through, the sudden hyperfocus on the wrong thing, the shame of knowing you are capable and still watching basic systems fail.

I have also managed to reduce the damage of it. In some areas, I have even managed to turn parts of it into something useful. But I did not do that by repeating feel good lies about being a misunderstood genius with a supercharged IQ. I did it by building systems around the parts of my brain that could not be trusted to behave consistently.

That is what this manual is about.

It covers external memory, visible reminders, pocket book capture, AI agents, movement, pressure, reward systems, strategic hyperfocus, useful shame, and repair rules that survive real life.

This is not a cute planner. It is not soft social media advice. It is not written to make ADHD sound magical.

It is a direct, practical field manual for people who want fewer excuses, better systems, and more control over their own life.

This is not medical advice, diagnosis, therapy, or a replacement for ADHD treatment. It is a practical operating manual based on lived experience, public sources, and systems that actually work. The manual combines personal lived experience with practical methods informed by current ADHD research, especially around executive function, working memory, reward systems, motivation, exercise, and environmental support.
