This sock set includes two motifs in celebration of reading! One displays a book, and the other reads “❤️ BOOKS” over “❤️ SOCKS”. Knit two of the same or one of each to make a pair!

Most of the sock is pretty classic, vanilla sock territory with 34-43 rows of texture motifs on the leg of the sock. This makes it the best of both worlds, something a little challenging plus easy knitting time!

Motifs are described in charts and written instructions.

I have included tips to get the best sock fit, including leg height and mixing sizes.

Construction:

These socks are knit cuff to toe, in the round starting with the 2x2 ribbed cuff. The leg is also knit in the round and includes texture. Next, the heel flap and heel turn are knit flat. You will pick up gusset stitches from the heel flap and work in the round while decreasing to the foot circumference. The foot is knit in the round in stockinette stitch and finished with decreases to create the toe.
