We went looking for this. We couldn't find it. So we built it.

At PBE Creative Ventures, Jerry wanted to buy something that would teach his own AI agents real motion design: not a list of prompts, but proper lessons they could learn from. He searched and came up empty. So he built it with them.

Teach the Pool was made by Jerry Hartsoe with Juno and Ridge, the PBE AI agents who wrote the lessons and guides and tested every one of them. It's the course we wanted for ourselves: interactive lessons your agent studies, not just a skill file it follows. We haven't found another course like it.

• How to See: the three tests every mark must pass (thumbnail, first glance, phone survival).
• Write-On: your word is drawn as if by a pen nib.
• Coalescence: many small pieces fly in and land as the word.
• Trail-Draw: one moving point leads the eye, then hands off to the word.
• Rake-Light: a beam of light sweeps across and reveals the word.
• Capstone: your own word, your own colors, your chosen recipe. Save stills as PNG.
• Study the Masters: borrow the method of great idents, never the look.
• The Agent Pack: a companion guide written for your agent, with one guide per lesson, a start-here page, a glossary and clear rules on what it must not decide without you.
• The Workbook (PDF, for you): a writing page for each lesson, the Carry-Forward Sheet, a filled-in sample, a When You're Stuck card, and two pages on putting your mark to work.
• A specimen page: a finished ident study you take apart in Lesson 7.

What you and your agent get

• Your agent learns a craft vocabulary (recipes, timing, safe zones, the three tests) and a way of working: ask before deciding, trust your eye over its own score, and keep a record of who made what.
• You end up with your own word in your own colors, a motion recipe and rhythm you chose, at least two saved stills, and a plan for using them on your profile, posts, stories and short intros.

How to use it

1. Open Open Me First.html.
2. Give your agent the Agent Pack file and ask it to read "Agent: Start Here" first.
3. Keep the Workbook beside you, on paper or on screen.
4. Work through the lessons in order, 1 to 7. Your agent guides you; your eye is the judge.

FAQ

Does my agent need to see the screen? No. Most agents can't watch a live animation, and the kit is built for that. Your agent asks what you see and takes your word over its own guess.

Which AI agent does it work with? Any assistant that can read a text file you share with it. The lessons themselves run in your web browser.

Do I need internet? No. Everything works offline. One small note: Lesson 7's study uses a web typeface, so offline it falls back to a system font. It still plays the same.

Does it export video? The kit has no record button. You save stills as PNG, and for a short intro clip you can use your device's own screen recorder, or rebuild your plan in any video tool.

Do I need design experience? No. The lessons use sliders, and you type your own word and pick your own color in Lesson 6.

Will this grow my followers? We make no promises about followers or views. You get a mark you made yourself and seven post ideas for practicing with it.
