Printable Children's Learning Planner

I trained as a primary school teacher over 40 years ago. When my four children were old enough I decided to home school them all the way to university entry. It was a completely joyful experience. Their whole education centred around curiosity and discovery and we spent most of our time learning outside.

An important element of our learning was about them become independent learners from a relatively young age. We achieved this through varied strategies but one was for them to plan their learning activities and then also to reflect on these experiences. This helped to map a learning pathway.

This two page planner is free for anyone who thinks it might be useful. It could be used for project planning and homework planning as well. The butterfly is a deliberate addition as, spiritually, it gives us a sense of transformation.
