It has been my philosophy throughout to build on the exemplary work of other fellow researchers such as Iain Abernethy, Bill Burger, Bruce Clayton & Patrick McCarthy, using a common sense and realistic approach to analysis and training, with a view to attempting to glean the original intent of the kata creators, taking into account their own unique circumstances.
