Orbit Beadweaving Tutorial PDF

A PDF TUTORIAL for my Orbit - a beadwoven ball, for Intermediate beaders in ENGLISH.  

This piece uses Right Angle Weave (RAW), modified RAW (MRAW) and Peyote stitch to beadweave a striking hollow ball.  

The main tutorial is for the large Orbit, using stunning 18mm hexagonal crystals (available here), and Miyuki size 11 seed beads and delicas. I also include diagrams for a 14mm crystal version so that you can use Swarovski Fantasy Hexagon (4683), and you can also adapt that version to use 16mm round Rivolis. A new 20mm rivoli 'semi naked' version has also been added to the PDF as well. Each bezel back will be fully visible so the tutorial guides you through choosing one or many bead colours, patterns or designs for those - it's a great stash buster if you opt for 'many'!

This 29 page tutorial contains a full materials list, and and every step for the main piece is fully illustrated with a detailed diagram showing thread paths etc, as well as being written out clearly (in English) with photos where appropriate. Steps and diagrams (but not photos to save space) are also included to guide you in making the two variations, and I've included colouring in sheets for all variations to help you with your colour choices, placements, or even for you to add optional designs to the back of the bezels.
