Little Bastards
Something a bit different: this is my collection of Haiku.
I love the brevity of haiku and senryu, but each has their rules. Haiku tends to be gentle and thoughtful, focused on nature. Senryu can be a wry investigation of the human condition but in general it probes with some finesse.
Sometimes I’m like that, but often not. Frequently my work lacks subtlety. It can be humorous or wry but it can also be dark. Thus while I use the haiku form, many of these are not quiet, contemplative verses. They are noisy, nasty little bastards.
There are 60 verses in this book, reflecting my thoughs and ideas at different times and on whatever subject inspired me at the time. There isn't any sensorship here, but while some of them might be a little creepy, there isn't any bad language either.
