GAMSAT SIII - Topic List (FREE)

The GAMSAT is not a primarily content focused test. That being said, you do need to know SOME content to understand the nuances of many of the questions. For this purpose, I have put together a topic list which serves as a comprehensive collection of every topic that is ‘fair game’ on the GAMSAT. This list has been put together by going through all the publicly available GAMSAT material put out by ACER, online discussion forums, and most importantly through discussions with students who have just sat the test. While the list may seem long, take comfort in the fact that this is only because it is very comprehensive. It is likely many of the topics listed will not feature in your sitting of the GAMSAT. The issue is, you won’t know which those are, and so it is important to cover them all (or at least some!).

With that in mind, this list has been written in such a way as to guide your approach towards the most high-yield topics, allowing you to focus more of your time where it will count.

To start revising this list, aim to be able to define each topic in a simple sense. From there, work towards being able to answer simple questions based on each topic. Often you will find you understand a topic less than you think upon trying your hand at some questions, but it is better to realise this now rather than in the GAMSAT. Best of luck!
