Forbidden Classics unearths a phantom recording from 1972 — one long Louisiana night captured on tape, built from gritty slide guitar, Hammond organ, and voices raised at the moon. This is swamp rock the way it was meant to sound: humid, haunted, and alive with the sound of the Deep South after dark.

There are no clean edges here. The album is a raw collision of stomping swamp grooves, weeping slide, wild Cajun fiddle, and tribal drums pounding up out of the black water. It is a restless journey through sin and redemption, love and dread, drink and daylight — driven forward by a rhythm section that never lets go, and a voice that sounds like it's seen the other side of the river.
