Inherited Smoke: The Threads Edition — Volume One

Wayne came home for a hug.

Before the night was over, he was fighting for his life.

Toya thought Wayne showing up at her door was the beginning of the same old trouble between them. She had no idea his return would drag her into a world of old betrayals, buried secrets, broken brotherhood, and people who have been lying for years.

When Wayne is shot inside Toya’s apartment and Marco disappears, everybody thinks they know what happened.

They don’t.

As Toya and Trina are pulled deeper into a situation neither of them can escape, X is forced to protect his brother while trying to figure out who is really behind the chaos. And the more the truth comes out, the more one name keeps appearing:

Saint.

Somebody knew Wayne was coming home.

Somebody knew exactly where he would go.

And the person everybody blames may be the one person who didn’t betray him.

Inherited Smoke: The Threads Edition — Volume One is a fast-paced serialized story about loyalty, betrayal, love, secrets, and the consequences of beef that started long before anybody understood what they were inheriting.

Everybody knows something.

Nobody knows everything.
