Kitson Game Master: Private AI Storyteller for Solo RPG Adventures

Early release, for learning and personal use. This is an evolving product: we're learning too, and we improve it with each update based on your feedback. AI answers can be wrong and aren't professional advice. You'll be asked to accept these terms when you first open the app.

A storyteller that's always ready: solo text adventures and quick session prep, running on your own PC.

WHAT IT DOES

Runs solo adventures in any genre, describing scenes, voicing characters and ending each turn with a choice. Helps game masters prep NPCs with secrets, encounters, loot, riddles and place names. System-neutral, so it works alongside the tabletop rules you already use. Stories always stay teen-friendly: there is no adult mode, and a built-in content check keeps it that way.

WHAT YOU NEED

Windows, Mac or Linux; free Node.js 18+; and free Ollama with qwen2.5:7b (about 5 GB download, 8 GB+ RAM), or your own OpenAI-compatible API key instead (you pay that provider).

WHAT'S INCLUDED

The app (zip), start files for Windows/Mac/Linux, and a README with step-by-step setup and troubleshooting. No AI model and no rulebook content are included.

HONEST LIMITS

Stories are generated and vary in quality with the model. Aimed at ages 13 and up; supervise younger players. Not affiliated with any tabletop game publisher. Private with Ollama on your PC; Cloud mode sends your text to the provider you choose.

Digital software. Please check the requirements before buying. If you can't get it running, email kit376351@gmail.com within 14 days and I'll help. If we still can't get it working, you get a full refund. Refunds aren't given because AI answers weren't perfect or for a change of mind after use.
