This Summer Lemonade Art Project combines an art lesson with reading comprehension and writing activities. Students read a summer-themed passage and respond to writing prompts, then create a colorful glass of lemonade with oil pastels, practicing color blending, shading and expressive design.

It is made for elementary classrooms and homeschool families. The lesson plan, lesson hook, example artwork and step-by-step slides are included in the document and as a PowerPoint presentation, so the art lesson is easy to teach or leave with a sub.
