The Extra Horse Racing System
THE EXTRA HORSE RACING SYSTEM
By Brian Reavill
This system by Brian Reavill is aimed at finding winners at decent prices. Strangely enough, the idea for this system came from a lay betting system which I use.
The lay bet system selects one horse a day, every day, generally at a very short price and, more often or not, at odds on . There are more losers than winners and I reasoned, therefore, that if most of these horses lost, at short prices, was there any scope for finding a winner in the same race, and as the lay bet selection would be at a short price, other horses in the same race would be at decent prices.
In researching this, I applied three rules to the lay bet selection to assess the strength of its chance. If all three rules were not satisfied, I concluded that there could be a “chink in the armour” of the lay bet selection, so when this was the case, I looked to find a possible winner in the same race, I believe I have successfully done this.
In a seven month research period, the total number of selections was 96, of which 6 were non-runners leaving the total number of selections at 90. A total of 49 of these won and 41 lost.
Level stakes profit, to one point level stakes, was 58.2 points (return on investment 64%).
