Twenty woodland fungi, and a colour recipe for every one.

Fungi are the best painting subject autumn has. A fly agaric is pure scarlet with the white

warts left as bare paper. A turkey tail is a dozen concentric bands of russet, bronze and

slate you lay one at a time. Candlesnuff fades from black to a powdered white tip you never

paint at all — you just leave the paper alone and let it do the work.

This set is twenty of them, drawn as soft pencil lineart with room to paint, and each one comes

with a painted reference plus a colour recipe card: five swatches sampled straight from that

already own.
