This headband is worked in double knitting as a long rectangle that is sewn together in the end using the Kitchener stitch. It can easily be made smaller by working fewer snowflakes.
Circumference 52 cm fits a 58 cm head snuggly.
You will need two colors of yarn, 60-70 m of each, that are well contrasting. The two yarns MUST be the same brand and weight.
If you use superwash wool, as suggested, be sure to wet block your gauge swatch since this fiber tends to relax quite a lot in blocking.
