Having Sex with Psychotherapy
HSWP is a restless debut that follows a young man who, after meeting a vanishing girl, must dive after that which sinks before him. Through dreams, lost email conversations, and glimpses of past rendezvous, it tackles subjects such as male sexual abuse and naive adolescent romantic fixations. Through the streets of Milan and Tartu, it takes you on a melancholic, pitiful walk through the self-centred ruins of an adolescent writer. Inviting analysis yet unreliable in its narration, HSWP presents memory at its most destructive—at its Endspiel. It is less a polished artefact than a document on thinking, faltering, mocking itself, yet always standing up again.
