Installment 21 of Finding the Names, Volume One — 385 more entries transcribed name by name from the original New Orleans ship manifests at the National Archives (Microfilm M1895, Roll 3, images 361–480). 135 pages, large print. FREE — please share it so families can find their people.

"Nathan and Beckey Missing" — Inspector Daly's report on Woolfolk's brig Intelligence: Beckey, 11, "taken out at Baltimore"; entry No. 19's name struck out of the manifest entirely; and Ned, 23, carried south with "In double Irons for Bad behaviour" written across his row. These pages also hold Fine, 24, sent from Mississippi to New Orleans "to git cure of a disease" by a justice of the peace's own certificate; Charlotte, 14, and Sally, 7, whom one paper calls "not shipped" and another calls dead and shipped; Boston Run, whose name in the table is his escape; Henry, 6, who crossed from Pensacola entirely alone; and a Charles Moody, 35 — the name this series has met twice before.

Counting this installment, the Finding the Names project has recovered 11,582 entries from the New Orleans manifests, every one free. The companion guide and the Complete Set (Installments 1–21 in one download) are also free in this store.
