This product contains 2 calibration files that will help you get a better SDR picture and understand picture controls on Samsung 2018 QLED TV series (including Q6, Q7, Q8 and Q9 models):

1. SDR picture settings that can be used for watching movies in standard and high definition, DVDs, Blu-rays etc. and
2. SDR picture settings for playing games where the screen needs to be responsive (includes information regarding FreeSync support)

In both cases, calibration was done for HDMI limited range YPrPb (component) signal, Rec.709 color space, white point target D65. Gamma target BT.1886.

Massive difference on my 2018 QLED!

I recently purchased a brand new OLED tv and since the picture was so much better than my QLED downstairs I was going to replace it also. Started researching about calibrating my old tv and ran across this site. Went ahead and paid for the SDR/HDR calibration specs and spent an hour or so calibrating it and the difference was night and day. The picture is so good now that I no longer feel I need to purchase a new TV for downstairs. I wish I had found these calibration specs back in 2018 so I could have enjoyed this amazing picture for the last 6 years.
