A dreamy 22-card Major Arcana tarot deck inspired by ancient Chinese mythology, sacred beasts, moonlit mountains, jade light, and the beautifully strange world of The Classic of Mountains and Seas.

This is our first release: the Major Arcana only — the heart of the tarot journey.

Think of it as a small doorway into a much larger mythic world.

This deck is rooted in The Classic of Mountains and Seas, one of China’s oldest and most fascinating mythological texts. It is a world of Kunlun, fox spirits, phoenixes, guardian gods, mountain deities, sea creatures, strange lands, impossible transformations, and beings that feel like they wandered out of an ancient dream and refused to explain themselves.

The Fool carries the spirit of Kua Fu, chasing the sun with wild, impossible hope.

The Magician becomes Lu Wu, guardian of Kunlun, holding glowing jade between his hands.

Other cards draw from ancient mountains, celestial signs, sacred animals, lotus petals, cloud patterns, moonlight, water, gold, and myth.

This is not a standard tarot deck with a few “Eastern-inspired” decorations added on top. We wanted each card to have a real story behind it — something ancient, strange, beautiful, and still emotionally true.

The artwork is soft, ethereal, feminine, and detailed, with pale gold, misty blue, jade green, blush pink, pearl white, flowing water, cloud patterns, lotus petals, and Art Nouveau-inspired floral borders.

It is not a dark horror deck.

It is not a rough battle deck.

It is more like waking up from a beautiful dream and somehow still knowing exactly what you need to do next.

Use it for daily card pulls, journaling, moon rituals, creative inspiration, self-care check-ins, altar styling, or those moments when you do not need a full life plan — you just need one beautiful card to help you ask a better question.

If you are new to tarot, start with the image: the face, the gesture, the body language, the sky, the animal, the flower, the light.

If you already collect decks, this one offers a rare mythic system rooted in ancient Chinese stories, rather than another retelling of the same familiar Rider-Waite imagery.

This first edition includes 22 Major Arcana cards only. If this release receives enough love, we hope to launch a future Kickstarter campaign for a deluxe full edition, including all 78 cards, upgraded packaging, a guidebook, and more stories from The Classic of Mountains and Seas.
