Chip Maker
CHIP MAKER: a retro pixel CNC machinist game
Clock in at the shop and run parts from raw bar stock to the shipping dock before the shift ends. It's a fast, funny little shop sim with arcade mini-games, chiptune music, and one very angry boss.
How a shift works
Grab aluminum, steel or titanium bar stock from the rack
Dial in the speeds and feeds on the CNC. Match the chart for a perfect cut, push too hard and the tool breaks
Chamfer the holes on the drill press, picking out the burred holes from the clean ones
Send the part to Q.C., where it's approved, sent back for rework, or scrapped
Ship it, then start the next part. Hit the quota before the 250-second clock runs out
Watch out for
Coolant leaks that make you slip and drop your part
Lightning storms that knock the power out. Find the breaker in the dark by its red light
Tool wear that makes your cuts slower and sloppier
The boss, who shows up for broken tools, scrapped parts and wet floors
Features
Three characters to play: Rusty, Jess and Big Dave
Retro pixel art and original chiptune music
