The Pisa University Companion

Founded in 1343, Pisa produced Galileo Galilei, who studied and later taught here, and helped invent the modern scientific method. This Companion reads the university's own genuine, verified achievements, from Galileo's actual work to a teenage Enrico Fermi's student years, and tells you exactly why careful historians doubt the single most famous story ever attached to Galileo's name.
