Classic v-neck sweater with drop shoulders and curved hem, worked seamlessly from top down. The shoulders are shaped with short rows for better fit.
The upper back is worked first. Stitches for each front are then picked up from the CO-row of the back and worked separately to the given length, adding the V-neck shaping. The fronts are then joined and worked in one piece to the same length as the back. Front and back are then joined and the body is worked in the round, shaping the hem with short rows. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up around the armholes and the sleeves are worked in the rounds towards the cuffs.
The pattern includes a photo tutorial for German short rows and two options for the curved hem.

NEEDLES:
For the main body and sleeves:
US 4 / 3.5 mm circular needle, 32” / 80 cm long, a set of double pointed needles in the same size (not needed if using Magic loop technique)
For the body ribbing and sleeve cuffs:
US 3 / 3.25 mm circular needle, 32” / 80 cm long, a set of double pointed needles in the same size (not needed if using Magic loop technique)
NOTIONS:
3 regular stitch markers (2 different markers for markers A and B and one marker for beginning of round)
1 locking stitch marker
row counter
waste yarn for holding stitches
tapestry needle to weave in the yarn ends
GAUGE:
26.5 sts and 37 rows in Stockinette stitch using larger needles = 4” / 10 cm after blocking.
Use the needle size that gives you the gauge.

Der Pullover wird nahtlos von oben nach unten gestrickt. Die Arbeit wird am Rücken begonnen. Nachdem das Rückenteil bis zum Ende des Armausschnitts gestrickt ist, werden die Maschen für das rechte bzw. linke Vorderteil am Rücken aufgenommen und separat gestrickt. Sobald der V-Ausschnitt fertig ist, werden die beiden Vorderteile gemeinsam bis auf Höhe des Armausschnittes gestrickt. Jetzt werden das Rück- und das Vorderteil gemeinsam in Runden gestrickt.
