Ancient Egypt is a thematic unit created for students in grades 4-7.
This unit gives details about the social structure, government, homes, food, clothing and religious practices of the Ancient Egyptians.
The unit consists of information cards with appropriate activity sheets and a collection of activity cards with activities in vocabulary, grammar, creative writing, research, art and drama.
Some activities are designed for independent work, others are meant for work with a partner or small group.
Also included are suggestions for teaching and evaluating the unit, tracking sheets, record sheets and a list of resources.
