He Is King

This painting of a lion and a lamb reflects my journey of understanding the relentless, tender love of God.

Just as the lion stands strong and protective over the lamb, God pursues us with unwavering devotion even when we stray. Like the story of the 99 and the one, He leaves the ninety-nine to seek out the one who is lost, chasing us not to punish, but to bring us safely home. His love is relentless, patient, and fierce, watching over us, guiding us, and guarding us through every danger.

In this image, the lion’s strength and the lamb’s vulnerability remind me that in His hands we are both protected and cherished. We are never beyond His reach, never too far for His pursuit, and always safe under His watchful eye.

Luke 15:4 “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?.”

This painting celebrates His unyielding love, a love that seeks, protects, and restores. It is a reminder that we are never alone, never unworthy, and always held in the strength of His kingdom.
