Practice finding the constant of proportionality from graphs with this Constant of Proportionality Graphs Chain Reaction Activity. Students use graphs to identify the constant of proportionality, then connect each answer to the next problem strip to build a paper chain.

This activity includes 16 problems and two versions. One version includes graphs with plotted points, and the other version includes graphs without plotted points for an added challenge. As students work, each answer leads them to the next strip in the chain. If an answer is incorrect, the chain will not connect correctly, giving students a built-in way to check their work.

Students cut out the strips, solve each problem, and glue the pieces together in order. The completed chains can also be displayed as classroom decor after the activity is finished.
