Born from my urban garden in Rock Island, Illinois, this artwork reflects the intimate relationship between person and earth. Every carved line stems from direct observation of the flowers that grow just outside my door. The coneflower's bold petals and textured center come alive through the rich, tactile quality that only hand-pulled prints can achieve.
